Pool project was completed and reopened on June 7th. The cost of the project was $725,000.00. We had to rewire the building, install a new drain system, clean out old drain lines from building to street. The Clubhouse Committee, and Dan Root with the help of Michele Primus did an amazing job in getting this done in less than a year. The three-year delay cost us around $300,00.00 in material cost. Our general contractor did a great job and helped keep the cost down.
Our Reserve Budget Plan calls for us to recapture $300,000.00 over the next five years. We will create a separate fund at our Edwards Jones account. With proper investment and timely payments, we hope to reduce the time it takes to capture this money.
We have found out that we have a large number of key cards in non-homeowners' possession. So, we have been deactivating those cards. If your card does not work, see Dave at the office. The homeowners are totally responsible for the use of your card. Letting family and friends into the clubhouse that results in damage, you will be held financially responsible for the damage.
We need more homeowners on our committees. This is your community. Please help it grow and be financially sound.
Any questions or comments, please put them in writing by email to Terri Kenyon - terri@kenyonandassociates.com or dropping off written comments at the office.
Our new Facebook site Official RBHOA Lockwood, NV will post new information weekly.

In conjunction with NV Energy, Brycon has set up a special phone number for warranty service on the gas appliances installed or converted during this project. This also includes AC systems. All calls for warranty service should be directed to this number775-453-6432 as the contact point for all warranty service calls. This warranty service call line will be in effect to the end of the one year warranty period, that is, through April 30, 2026. (See Brycon Flyer below)

Rainbow Bend HOA Board of Directors approved at the HOA Board Meeting on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 a study of Northern House Wrens Birds as presented by Ava Ciaccia, Biological Technician Lab, University of Nevada Reno.
Bird Study by Ouyang Lab at the University Nevada Reno Report
Although Avenue de la Couleurs did not end up being an optimal habitat for Northern House Wrens, we do have several occupied boxes, including one Bewick’s Wren nest that successfully fledged six nestlings! Those parents have already begun laying a second clutch of eggs. Photo of the nest, before the nestlings fledged.
Horses - The horses are managed and controlled by The Wild Horse Connection (WHC). The WHC is a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit whose mission is to keep the Wild Horses of the Virginia Range Free, educating the Community about living with our Mustangs and Rescuing those that have to be removed from the range.
It is important to know that it is illegal to feed wild horses in Nevada.
Because of a cooperative agreement with the Nevada Department of Agriculture, one of the most important things Wild Horse Connection does is diversionary feeding. WHC has NDA-approved diversionary feeding sites that are used to divert horses from roadways and neighborhoods. So, you can rest assured that the horses are being cared for. Horses follow patterns. If you feed illegally in your yard, then the horses learn to come there for food. This is dangerous for you and the horses. The goal of WHC is to feed in the hills in approved areas to teach the horses to stay up where they belong and not come into your yard or onto our streets. Follow the laws, and leave the management of the horses to WHC so we can keep the horses where they belong. If you see anyone feeding or harassing the horses, please contact the Wild Horse Connection Hotline at 775-352-3944 or go to the website www.wildhorseconnection.org for more information.
CGID is responsible for cleaning up the horse manure on our streets. Please let them know about your concerns.
