Nevada Health Center Mobile Medical Unit - The NVHC Mobile unit will be at Lockwood on the Second Tuesday of each month from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. They provide family medicine services. Family medicine is the medical specialty that provides continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family. The scope of family medicine encompasses all ages and genders and can address a variety of diseases or conditions affecting the human body. Services included but are not limited to:
Routine exams and screenings
Well-child visits.
Immunizations
Treatment of chronic conditions like diabetes and hypertension.
Prescriptions for medications
Lab testing
Blood Draws (for NVHC patients)
Well Women Exams
Family Planning
Medical Counseling
STD Testing
Referrals
Sports Physicals
Dr. Carol Alley is our medical provider. To schedule an appointment, please call 775-257-7455 or stop by when the unit is in the area, and a staff member will schedule an appointment.
Nevada Health Centers accepts most insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare, and we offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify and currently accepts Anthem, Alwell, Ambetter, Medicaid, Medicare, and Access to Healthcare. For individuals without insurance, we offer a Sliding Fee Program. (See Flyers below)
