Spam Emails

Detective Frank Valdez - residences be wary of any emails claiming to be from any members of the HOA asking for payment of any kind?  A BOARD MEMBER WOULD NEVER MAKE A REQUEST BY EMAIL TO A HOMEOWNER.  DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL.  


Contact an HOA Board Member or Patrol, if any requests or demands for payment are made.  

The Storey County Sheriff's Office are working on the problem.  Storey County Sheriff’s - (775) 847-0959.

You may also REPORT this email to the FTC - by going to their Website  www.FTC.gov., add the spam email address and answer the questions.

HOA BOARD ANNOUNCEMENT

At the Rainbow Bend HOA Board Meeting held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 the following items were approved by the HOA Board.

  1. At the HOA Board Meeting, July 22, 2025 the Board voted they will no longer print the Board Meeting Agendas, Flyers, Notices, etc., plus they will no longer be placed in the Homeowners Tubes by Patrol.
  2. Kenyon and Associates will email all notices to the homeowners who have provided their email address.  
  3. If you have not provided your email address, Homeowners will need to complete the Homeowner Registration form and submit the form by Email to  Kenyon and Associates -  Melissa Turner, Administrative Assistant at Kenyon: Email:  assistants@kenyonandassociates.com    or Drop off a the form at the Patrol Office.  The Homeowner Information Form is available below or at the Clubhouse Lobby.
  4. Copies of Agendas, Flyers, etc., will be available in the Clubhouse Lobby and on the website and will be posted to the Official RBHOA Lockwood, NV Facebook Site.
  5. The Homeowner Registration Forms are available in the Clubhouse Lobby and  below. 

PARKING OF YOUR VEHICLES ON YOUR PROPERTY

  • No parking is allowed on the grass or gravel area of your property. Vehicles may only be parked in your garage, driveway or paved areas on your property.
  • Violation notices will be sent out to the Homeowner.

Overflow Parking

The Board has authorized the towing of inoperable vehicles from the overflow parking area by the Clubhouse.   Terri Kenyon, Board Members & Patrol are working on a new parking policy for homeowners to park their vehicles in any of the overflow parking areas.  

Once the parking policy have been approved by the Board, the policy will be enforced.   Vehicles parked in any of the overflow parking areas must be in working order and must be moved every 7 days. All vehicles must have a license plate or a temporary moving plate. The overflow parking areas are not for vehicle storage, broken down vehicles and abandon vehicles.

If you have any questions, please submit your questions in writing. If you place your questions on any of the Lockwood Facebook Sites, they will not be addressed by the HOA Board. CLUBHOUSE FENCE REMOVAL

The Fence Removal by the Clubhouse which was scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026 has been Postponed.                                                                                           3-14-2026

HOA BOARD -

Diana Vick has resigned from the HOA Board.

There is now a vacant seat on the board of directors. This position will be filled by the board of directors from submitted Candidacy Disclosure Statement form.   There is NOT another election.  Anyone interested in applying may do so by submitting their Candidacy Disclosure Statement Form  to Kenyon & Associates no later than 5pm on March 26, 2026.   Candidacy Disclosure Statement Forms are available online on our HOA website,  www.rainbowbendnv.com News Page or from the Patrol Office. Kenyon will be emailing and / or snail mailing all residents with the form.  Candidacy Disclosure Statement Form  may be mailed or delivered to Kenyon & Associates ( 6490 S McCarran Blvd., Bldg. F Suite #50, Reno, NV 89511 ) emailed to Kenyon & Associates ( assistants@kenyonandassociates.com ) or put into the Kenyon box in the clubhouse lobby.  If interested, please feel free to also talk with any current or past board member for more understanding of what's involved.  Thank you for considering it !                                                                                               3-4-2026

RV LOT SPACE RENTAL INCREASE

At the HOA Board Meeting on 3-31-206, the HOA Board approved an increase for the monthly rental RV Lot space to $20 per month, effective May 1, 2026.   Homeowners who rent out a RV Lot Space will be provided a new RV Lot Space Rental Agreement for signature and return to the RV Lot  Committee at the Patrol Office.                                                                                                       4-1-2026

The State of Nevada Complaint & Hearing Notice will be addressed at the HOA Board Meeting on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 - 6 pm - Clubhouse Rainbow Room.                                                                                                     4-27-2026
