Rainbow Bend HOA is a private community of single-family homes and a spacious Clubhouse, including an indoor pool area, gym, library, and meeting areas. We are nestled along the south shore of the beautiful Truckee River and I-80 in Lockwood, Storey County, Nevada. Although we all have a Sparks address, the Community of Lockwood lies east of the City of Sparks. Lockwood has its own elementary school, Lockwood Community/Senior Center, grocery market, sheriff and fire stations, and community parks. Together with the Rainbow Bend Country Club, Hillside Elementary School and community groups, Lockwood offers a wide range of activities for families and individuals of all ages.
Rainbow Bend HOA represents a deed-restricted community in Lockwood outside Sparks, Nevada. In a deed-restricted community, a homeowners’ association (HOA) enforces rules pertaining to how your property is used and its appearance. Like most deed restricted communities, Rainbow Bend requires an assessment from each homeowner that pays for the community’s upkeep and maintenance. These assessments are due monthly and payable to the Rainbow Bend Homeowners Association. The Rainbow Bend Board of Directors contracts with Kenyon & Associates, a Licensed Community Association Management Company, to handle the day-to-day operations. The management company reports directly to the elected RBHOA Board Members.
